About the event

Mardi Gras is here and just like every year  Oxtravaganza family fun zone is back hosted by the team at The Poppet Centre - again this year, thanks to the City of Sydney, you will find us at East Sydney Community and Arts Centre on the corner of Burton and Palmer Streets, Darlinghurst...

Drag Queen Story Time will feature once again!!!

We have two readings planned with more exciting things coming, but you can count on it - there will be face painting, art activities, balloons, colouring games, free fairy floss, and goodie bags for the kids.

This is a FREE event, so you can join us at any time, but to help with planning please register - this helps us know how many bags to bring and how much yummy food we need to supply!

Sign up today and be there to win some great prizes donated by the businesses of the Darlinghurst Business Partnership

WHAT'S THE FLOW?

CHILL ZONE

Swing on down, we are just off Oxford Street, and enjoy a glass of water, some quiet activities, or even rest in the shade with a play in the Albert Sloss Reserve Playground

Or something special for tired parents, why not sit back and have a free seated massage by Tom Tao Ding !?

Shane Warren Coaching & Counselling Services is proud to support The Poppet Centre who is excited to once again host this event which is proudly sponsored by The Darlinghurst Business Partnership as part of the annual Oxtravaganza festival - made possible by City of Sydney festival grants.

The Poppet Centre team acknowledges that our co-ordinating services come from the lands of the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. We further acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the various lands on which we work daily and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people participating in our projects. W pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging as we celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing cultures and connections to the lands and waters of this growing nation.
