At Nexus Student Services, we understand the unique challenges faced by queer students studying away from home. Whether it’s navigating identity in a new cultural context, dealing with homesickness, or finding community in unfamiliar surroundings, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.

Our model is grounded in peer-to-peer care because sometimes the best person to talk to is someone who's been there, too.

​

Our trained LGBTQIA+ peer supporters are international students and recent graduates who know firsthand the joys, pressures, and puzzles of life in Australia. They're here to walk alongside you, not lecture from above. But they're not alone - behind every peer worker is a network of experienced mentors, elders, and wellbeing professionals offering quiet guidance and support.
