Service Description

Exposure to prolonged, excessive stress will put you off your game. When we have a series of ‘other things' on our mind we can do nothing but operate at reduced capacity, not fulfilling our potential… Such experiences take us away from that which we want to be engaged in, it could be family, work absence, or connections with social groups that usually stimulate us. If you are wanting to be more engaged with your work, a better partner, or a more engaged parent then resilience coaching is for you!? What is Resilience Coaching? We look at resilience as an individual’s ability to be flexible in life and adapt to situations that present adverse conditions. Resilient Coaching helps you learn not to dwell on failures, but rather to acknowledge situations for what they are, find the internal strength to embrace the emotional difficulties, and move forward. What do I get out of the process? Using a flexible proactive coaching approach, you will be guided through a strategy where you will be able to: * Make a conscious decision to develop a resilience lifestyle; * Assume responsibility for the quality of your life; * Identify areas that need development so you can make changes to enhance your personal resilience; * Master the skill to identify what it is you have power or influence to change and what you need to work towards acceptance or accommodation of within your life; * Know when to develop a grit mindset to push towards goals and objectives; * Master a growth mindset to maintain hope; and * How to focus one’s emotional energies wisely to find time to revitalize and reenergize oneself so that you have energy reserves to confront times of adversity. How does it work? Spread out over a series of 6-sessions each coaching strategy works specifically with individual needs, so we tend to start the process by defining some areas of weakness. Once we have identified the areas that require working on you will be guided through a series of real-time learning strategies to help you better understand psycho-educative-based conversations with your coach. In essence, the coaching model follows a process of retrospective learning with experiential-based exercises to help you grow as an individual while mastering a resilient mindset.
