Mastering Effective Coping Strategies

Let’s talk coping strategies. Not the Instagram version where coping involves linen pants, perfect lighting and a journal that has never met real handwriting. The real version.

The cup of tea. The ten-minute walk. The one honest text. The pause before replying. The “I need to sleep before I solve my entire life” decision.

The Story We Tell on Anzac Day and The One We Rarely Speak About

I’ve been thinking about the kind of resilience that does not look like a motivational poster.

Not the grand heroic moment. Not the “I overcame everything and now drink green smoothies at sunrise” version. The quieter kind.

The kind where people keep showing up while carrying unanswered questions. Keep caring. Keep making breakfast. Keep answering emails. Keep loving people while part of them is elsewhere.

I wrote more about that here: The Story We Tell on Anzac Day and The One We Rarely Speak About

What is one ordinary act of resilience you think we overlook?
