Life Reset Session

Spring Clean Your Life

Sometimes You Don't Need A Whole New Life

Sometimes You Need To Clear The One You Already Have.

Life has a way of accumulating.

The unfinished tasks.

The quiet resentments.

The old commitments that no longer fit.

The habits you keep meaning to change.

The people you do not want to disappoint.

The dreams that have been placed very politely in the corner while everyone else’s needs take centre stage.

And then one day, you realise you are not necessarily falling apart.

You are simply carrying too much.

That is where the Life Reset Session begins.

The Life Reset Session is a focused 3-hour coaching and counselling session with Shane Warren, designed for people who know something needs to shift, but do not necessarily need long-term therapy to begin making sense of it.

This is not about reinventing yourself into someone more impressive.

How exhausting.

It is about clearing the clutter, reclaiming your energy, and choosing the next honest move.

The Life Reset Session: Clear The Clutter. Reclaim The Energy. Choose The Next Move.

The Life Reset Session is a private, structured session that gives you time to pause, take stock, and look honestly at what is happening across your life.

Together, we explore what is working, what is not working, what is draining you, what you are tolerating, and what you are ready to change.

The session draws on Shane’s integrated approach to counselling, coaching, resilience, reflective practice, and practical life strategy.

Clients often describe the experience as part life audit, part coaching session, part emotional decluttering, and part “right, let’s finally sort this out” conversation.

Across the three hours, we explore:

  • What is happening in your life right now

  • Where your energy is being drained

  • What you are putting up with

  • The “shoulds” that may no longer serve you

  • The relationships, routines or roles that need attention

  • The unfinished business that keeps quietly following you around

  • What you are ready to let go of

  • What you want the next three months to look and feel like

  • The first practical steps that will help you begin

You leave with greater clarity, a personalised Life Reset Plan, and a practical 3-month pathway for what comes next.

What Happens In The Session?

The Life Reset Session is not a lecture, not a motivational pep talk, and not a spreadsheet pretending to be a personality.

It is a guided conversation supported by reflective tools and practical planning. We usually move through four stages.

1. Take Stock

We begin by looking at your current reality.

  • Where are you satisfied?

  • Where are you underfed?

  • Where are you overextended?

  • Where are you quietly pretending things are fine?

This part of the session helps you map the areas of life that need attention: relationships, work, health, home, family, purpose, energy, identity, money, learning, creativity, or whatever else is asking to be seen.

2. Name The Clutter

Next, we look at what is taking up space.

This may include unfinished tasks, old obligations, emotional residue, tired routines, poor boundaries, difficult relationships, inherited expectations, or the many “shoulds” that have been running the show without proper permission.

We ask:

  • What are you tolerating?

  • What is frustrating you?

  • What keeps getting postponed?

  • What are you carrying that no longer needs to travel with you?

  • What would you admit you wanted if you stopped editing the answer?

3. Release What No Longer Fits

Letting go is not about pretending something did not matter. It is about deciding it no longer gets to invoice you every day.

In this part of the session, we identify what needs to be released, renegotiated, completed or softened. That may be a belief, a habit, a role, a responsibility, a resentment, a fantasy, or a version of yourself you once needed but have now outgrown.

The aim is not drama. The aim is space.

4. Build The 3-Month Reset Plan

Finally, we move from insight into action.

You will leave with a simple, practical plan for the next three months, including:

  • A clear theme for the next season of your life

  • Three priority goals

  • Three daily success habits

  • Three things you are ready to let go of

  • Three first actions to create movement

This is where the session becomes practical. Not “change your whole life by Tuesday” practical. Human practical. The kind of practical that actually has a chance of surviving real life.

This Session Is For You If

You feel stuck, tired, scattered or stretched too thin.

You are carrying too many commitments and not enough clarity.

You know something needs to change, but you are not sure where to start.

You feel like life has become more reactive than intentional.

You have entered a transition and need to reorient yourself.

You are tired of postponing the same decision, conversation or change.

You want a structured, thoughtful conversation that helps you sort the noise from the truth.

You do not necessarily want long-term therapy, but you do want a serious conversation about your life.

The Life Reset Session can be useful during career change, relationship transition, post-burnout rebuilding, grief, parenting shifts, empty-nest questions, ageing and caregiving stress, business or leadership decisions, or simply that strange middle-season of life where everything looks fine from the outside but something inside keeps whispering, “Not quite.”

One-On-One Or Closed Small Group

The Life Reset Session is available as a private one-on-one session or as a closed small group session.

One-On-One: A private 3-hour session with Shane focused entirely on your life, your patterns, your choices, and your next steps. This format is best when you want privacy, depth, and space to explore personal material honestly.

Closed Small Group: A 3-hour private session for a small group who already share some trust. This might include friends, colleagues, peers, partners, co-founders, or a small support group who want to pause and reset together.

Closed small groups are not public workshops. They are private, confidential, carefully held sessions where each person works through their own Life Reset Plan while being supported by a shared reflective process.

Small groups work best when people are willing to be respectful, honest and kind. No forced vulnerability gymnastics. No awkward group therapy theatre. Just real conversation, thoughtful structure, and enough humour to keep us all human.

What You Leave With

At the end of your Life Reset Session, you will have:

  • A clearer understanding of what is happening in your life right now

  • A personal Life Reset Plan

  • A 3-month vision

  • Three priority goals

  • Three daily success habits

  • Three things to let go of

  • A short list of practical first actions

You will certainly leave with a clearer sense of what needs your attention next.

You may also receive a participant journal or selected reflective worksheets to support your thinking during and after the session.

What Happens After The Life Reset Session?

For many people, one Life Reset Session creates enough clarity to begin moving. For others, the session becomes the starting point for further work.

Where ongoing support is helpful, follow-up sessions are available. These may be used to review progress, deepen the work, strengthen habits, navigate decisions, or stay accountable to the plan you created.

Follow-up sessions may occur:

  • Weekly

  • Fortnightly

  • Monthly

  • Seasonally

  • Or simply when life calls for another conversation

There is no expectation of long-term therapy.

Some people book one session and get what they need.

Others return across different seasons of life, using Shane as a trusted thinking partner, counsellor, coach and quietly challenging companion when life becomes complicated again. Because it will. Life does like to keep its diary full.
