Service Description

Colour Circles provides a space to explore creative expression with others. We offer opportunities to relate to others in a safe therapeutic space, and potential to gain insight into how our thoughts, dynamics, and ways of relating play out with others’ insights shared. Working from an open-ended group therapy model colour circles uses the medium of art and colour expression as a stimulus to support specific topics for discussion in each session…. The Open-Ended Group Therapy group is a 90-minute session where participants choose an image at the start of each session to colour during group discussion by entertaining one’s lag-time we can be more focussed on specific question stimulus designed to open the group discussion. Working with the here-and-now perspective participants are challenged to talk freely about what is going on in their minds, life and experience that contributes to what is happening for them in their relationships.
